Do you provide materials or do I need to supply them? ↓

We can handle everything — sourcing and supplying all materials as part of the job. Or if you've already chosen specific materials, we're happy to work with what you have. We'll make it clear in the quote which approach we're taking and the cost of each.

Are you VAT registered? ↓

No — we're not VAT registered, which means we don't charge VAT on top of our quotes. The price you see is the price you pay. For homeowners, this can represent a significant saving compared to larger firms.

What areas do you cover? ↓

We're based in Hertfordshire and cover the whole county — including St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, Watford and surrounding villages. We also regularly work across North London. Not sure if we cover your area? Just give Lee a call and he'll let you know.

How quickly can you start? ↓

It depends on the job and time of year. For smaller jobs and emergency repairs we often have availability within a few days. Larger projects like kitchen fits or full renovations are typically scheduled a few weeks ahead. Get in touch and we'll give you an honest timeline.

Are you fully insured? ↓

Yes — we carry full public liability insurance on every job. You're fully protected throughout the work. We're happy to provide proof of insurance before we start if you'd like to see it.

How does the quote process work? ↓

Fill in our quote form or give Lee a call. For straightforward jobs we can often give you a price over the phone or by WhatsApp. For larger projects we'll arrange a free site visit to take a proper look before giving you a fixed quote. There's no obligation and no call-out charge.

Do you guarantee your work? ↓

Absolutely. We stand behind everything we do. If something isn't right after we've finished, call Lee and we'll come back and sort it — no arguments. We've built our reputation on word of mouth and we intend to keep it that way.

Can you handle multiple trades on the same project? ↓

Yes — this is one of our biggest advantages. Between us we cover carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tiling, plastering and decorating. For a kitchen fit or bathroom renovation that means one team, one quote, and no coordinating between different contractors. Much less stress for you.
